iPhone X shipping delays in Korea

is there a way you can request saturday delivery? and what part of the country are you in?

It doesn’t, But when I scroll down since the shipment has 2 packages it shows delivery 29/11/2017.

I looked at your package progress and it appears mine had the same tracking info up to plans for delivery on the 24th in China. Mine still has not left China and is being held up.

If you have the UPS app on your phone or iPad and enable notifications you should get advance notifications of deliveries. I do, anyway.

There are currently flight problems throughout the area due to the volcano eruption and the resultant ash in the air.

I wonder why Apple is shipping to Korea at all? Previous orders have gone from China to Anchorage.

I have been receiving emails from UPS with Bogus dates. I showed delivery for Nov 14, then one telling me before that. Then I called UPS yesterday and they told me it’s now tomorrow the 16th! She even promised me the 16th. Today I received another email that it arrived in Korea. Called UPS again, and now they don’t know when it will arrive at all But they do see the 16th but also know it’s in Korea. My package sat in China 4 days to clear customs. Why is customs taking so long Apple? Now 8 days later it arrives in Korea. I have been a loyal Apple customer since 1978 and stock holder. This order has been the worst I have ever experienced With Apple. From the midnight ordering until now this has been by far my worst experience with Apple! Apple has issues I don’t see being addressed. Maybe I have been too loyal...

Shipped on 9th, initial scheduled to 15th, now to 20th, but still not moving from Korea. At this pace, not even next year!

Very disappointing experience this time. Also a loyal apple customer for many years, don't know for how much longer.

Mine is even a little crazier. I'm located in Hawaii, not all that far from China.... My phone left China on the 9th, to Korea for a few days, then to Alaska for a couple days, then to Kentucky (WTH), now its currently sitting there with a delay (all the on the other side Hawaii).

Yeah I get the process of shipping to their hubs, but its not efficient shipping if the shipping process has been 8 days now and the product is actually further away from me than when it started. Anyways, latest update on my phone: USP flight was late in Kentucky so not arriving today, not arriving tomorrow, but rather Monday (maybe).

ps. I will never pre-order from Apple again, that was counter-productive (regardless of sorry shipping process) 🙂

That has to do with the UPS computers, plane availability, weather, airports, etc. Apple has nothing to do with it. But if you go to buy it on the first day of release and you have an outgoing personality it can be fun and you can meet a lot of new people. But buy a comfortable portable chair, charger, etc. now as you will be in line for about 14 hours or so. Or you can skip the first day, start a few days later, and get up early and check on what of the iPhone stock websites and go get in line early. You won't have to stand in line as long but you may have to do this several times.

I am VERY disappointed in Apple. My iPhone showed it was to ship on the 8th, saw it ready for pickup. showed it was to be deliver on 14th now 16th, However, that's not going to happen because it's still in Korea. UPS tells me they have no clue why it went from China to Korea, nor when it will be leaving. Those I know that ordered 64k received them on the 3rd. Those of us that ordered 256k on time, got had. My feeling that Apple should have done as they have in the past, US ordered first then a week or 2 later they opened it up to another country. I believe they never should have taken any orders until they had inventory to deliver. God only know when my order will be leaving Korea, and why now are they going China to Korea, they didn't use too?

Same BS with mine here. Ordered on 10/27 at 3:08AM and still don't have it. Meanwhile Verizon Iphone X is at every Apple store around me in stock 64GB and 256GB. Just buy go and pick it up. What kind of BS is this? None for T-Mobile but Verizon is available, why can't I buy Verizon and use it on T-mobile if I am buying it outright from Apple and it's unlocked? Since when in US when you have money you can't just go and buy it if it's being sold?

The cost to ship to Korea...unload....then reload (double handling) has to cost more than a direct shipment to anyplace in the US direct from China. I think Apple has been playing the bunch of us. I believe they didn't have the inventory, but wanted to have the orders ( and the money). The whole launch of the iPhone X has been one of the worst in my memory.

I was Senior VP for Transportation for a major company....Believe me double handling whether in Containers or not is double handling....and costs more. And yes, I was around for the iPhones you mentioned and stood in long lines to get them. Anyway, I'm glad you received yours.
