Same thing happens to my iPhone X multiple times a day. I have been in contact with Apple Support in regards to this and another known issue with my alarm and timer not sounding or notifying when set to alert. Apple collected data and reports and analytics from me and the developers have come back with restore as new. That is not an acceptable option as I have been a customer since 2008. I have owned the 3s, 4s, 6, 6s and now the X. I have over 422 applications in the device and refuse to restore as new with the amount of threads I have in my text message logs, notes etc. All the items that I will lose to restore as new are not an option. Additionally, I have seen lots of threads and been told by Apple Support that there are other cases with complaints on the alarm and timers not sounding. How is this acceptable that we just throw this under the rug and not care about our customers and fixing the underlying issue? The sound issue seems to have been from ios 10 and the springboard (black screen with a white circle) is for sure an issue with IOS 11... which version I wouldn't know. 11.1.1 or 11.1.2.

In addition, my niece was provided a brand new iPhone X last night. I set her up with her device and wouldn't you know that one of the first things to experience is that good ole springboard black screen with the white circle issue. Also, I never experienced the Springboard issue in my 6s and neither did my Niece in her iPhone SE, ever.

Please Apple let's get these items fixed, they are really annoying and need to not pay us anymore visits to our $1100 devices.

Thanks!
