GarageBand iPad: Keyboards missing Velocity Sensitivity
A few updates ago, GarageBand for iPad lost the Velocity Sensitivity section in Track Settings (which I like to turn to Off generally), and it only shows on my iPod touch now... so if I don't want a track to have whatever velocity the iPad thinks I'm doing, I have to create a song and track on my iPod touch then disable velocity sensitivity and play a note then save the song then wait for it to update to the iPad then use that as a template to copy/paste from (after that I just duplicate a track and copy/paste anything played there to keep the velocities)... it's super annoying.
Was this just moved in the iPad? I don't see the point in deleting it after having it there for years, as long as I've had the iPad. The velocity adjustment bar on the keyboard screen isn't the same thing... it still records how hard I press the screen. Adjusting them manually is a pain too.
For some reason drum tracks still have the Velocity Sensitivity in Track Settings... so this change seems completely counter-intuitive to me. Is there a better forum to ask GarageBand questions? I'm not sure this is even the best place to ask.
