GPS delay in iphone x

Have the same exact problem with iPhone X and 11.2

Was this improved with the latest software for you?

For me it's exactly the same and the most alarming thing is that my iPhone 6sPlus has the same software and the GPS works great which could suggest a hardware issue.

Same here with X on 11.2.1.

It just started happening last night after I visited a friend who lives 37 miles away. I used Apple Maps for guidance and it was working. However after getting home, I noticed that my geofenced alerts kept thinking I was leaving and returning home while I was sitting stationary.

It's continuing today with the phone thinking I'm about 2 miles away for a split second when I open Apple Maps or Google Maps. Then zeroing in after a few seconds. When I close maps it starts to drift again. This is incredibly annoying.

Same problem here. iPhoneX just did a factor reset this week 11.2.5 GPS constantly jumping every 5-10 seconds, not fluid at all and all maps Apple Maps, Google Maps, and Waze experience issues. Amazingly frustrating for a 1000 found.

Same problem in my iphone X and also in my iphone 7S in the last few days that I had it. Annoying in using maps, pokemon go, and run tracking apps. Please fix this apple.

Same problem here with iPhone X and 11.2. The software update didn't fix anything...

iOS 11.2.1 didn’t solve anything either.

Does anyone have any further info if this is software or hardware?

This is really frustrating for such an expensive phone.

No news. I finally decided to send my iPhone X back to Apple, and ask a refund. It's a shame for such an expansive phone, you are right!

Me too, but just noticed today (was using a gps-based app). It would not update live. Very frustrating!

Apple please do something. This IphoneX is becoming useless with no accurate GPS for Maps and Waze. Very annoying and very dangerious as many times the phone directed me to wrong way.

GPS doesn’t locate properly using google maps.

IOS11.2.5 iphoneX ; same here from Bangkok. Fix this please apple, had made a wrong turn today twice.

Same problem here. latest software, brand new phone. Did not have this problem with iphone 5s. Also noticed the camera palys up and needs to be force closed as it locks.
