Gray screen with a stuck progress bar! For two days!

Hey can someone help me here? I tried to you Boot Camp to download Windows on my Macbook, but it didn’t work, so I decided to restart my mac and unfortunately after that my mac isn’t responding and just giving me a gray screen with Apple Logo and a stuck progress bar. I called tge apple support, and they made me reinstall Serria thought that would solve the issue but again giving me tge same screen again. I tried the single mood, disc utility but nothing seems to work with my situation! :(

You corrupted your OS X installation.


Install El Capitan or Later from Scratch


Restart the computer. Immediately after the chime hold down the CommandandRkeys until the Apple logo appears. When the Utility Menu appears:

  1. Select Disk Utility from the Utility Menu and click on Continue button.
  2. When Disk Utility loads select the volume (indented entry, usually Macintosh HD) from the Device list.
  3. Click on the Erase icon in Disk Utility's main window. A panel will drop down.
  4. Set the Format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.)
  5. Click on the Apply button, then wait for the Done button to activate and click on it.
  6. Quit Disk Utility and return to the Utility Menu.
  7. Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
