NBA app on 3rd Gen. was working--showing highlight clips--until a week or so ago; now I am redirected back to Home screen and videos do not play

NBA app was working--showing highlight clips--until a week or so ago; now I am redirected back to Home screen (TV Home) and videos do not play. I have never had, nor currently have a subscription league pass. Just watched free game highlights. I've tried resetting and restarting and using latest OS. Is NBA working out bugs, or?

The 3rd gen doesn’t run apps, it is simply accessing content off the server. Contact them, as the device is discontinued they may be focusing on an app for the current model.
