I have the iPhone 8 with IOS 11.1. I have text messages appearing on my iPad and not my iPhone. I have tried turning off Messages and restarting my phone and turning on again. Not all, only some it happens to. Any ideas.

This issue has also just started happening to me on my iPhone 6S. Some messages will go to my iPad or MacBook but won’t show up on my phone. Shouldn’t all messages appear in all devices?
Go to Settings > Messages > Send and Receive and see what is checked. Make adjustments as necessary.
