iPad randomly disconnecting from WIFI

Hi all...I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues with their iPad randomly disconnecting from the internet? After the 2nd last update my iPad internet began disconnecting, then wouldn’t connect to my WIFI and refused to accept our password with the”wrong password” message....it’s BEYOND AGGRAVATING! I’ve reset my network connection repeatedly....turned the ipad off and on...etc. Nothing works until it just randomly connects itself back up to the WIFI! Had Apple online support dial in and they said my system is noting a fail error in the battery, yet my iPad holds a charge- darn thing is only not quite 2 years old....any advise/input would be very much appreciate...thanks!

I get this a lot. The password never works, but what I find does work is, to

1. push off the Restart button on the side of the hub, so that the three lights on the front of the the hub stop glowing

2. press button on again

3. wait two minutes or so.

4. look at the three lights on the hub to make sure all 3 are glowing blue

5. go to Settings

6. and reconnect to Wi-Fi again.

Thanks - I’ll try that. Do your other devices remain connected while you’re experiencing this issue or are all disconnected? Plus, I had apple support dial in to my iPad and they said my unit was showing a memory issue but it was connected to the camera so they weren’t sure if it was causing the disconnect to occur. I’d be interested to hear if you had issues with memory as well on your device.

I just spoke to my ISP and they had to reset my modem - apparently each time the iOS is updated it changes something in the identifier of my devices which ‘confuses’ my modem- I had checked my other devices and even though they had indicated a wifi signal they were also unable to connect. I think Apple needs to figure out the iOS updates a bit better to avoid issues like this.
