Moving from windows pc to imac

Hi, I am thinking of buying an imac and wonder how difficult is to move over. For example, can I still open my previous word and excel documents on the imac?

Does anyone have experience of moving from a windows environment to imac and could offer some tips and advice?

You should have no problem opening up documents that were saved in Windows on your Mac. You can do this using either Pages, Numbers, or Keynote or by downloading Microsoft Office for Mac.

Migration Assistant will also walk you through migrating data from a Windows PC to your new Mac during the setup process.
