Why is my Apple Music not working

My Apple Music is not recognizing that i already have an account and pay for a plan, why is it not working? When i click on songs in the search area of Apple Music, it prompts me to choose a plan first, this should not be happening as i just paid my Apple Music bill on November 4th. Why is it not working!?

I have similar issue with iPhone 6S:

I have subscription to Apple Music, and I can see library on iTunes in windows. But I cannot see it in iPhone. I followed steps as suggested above, still no success.

Good evening Clarkal12,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

It sounds like you have an Apple Music subscription, but you aren't able to access the Apple catalog on your iPhone 7 Plus.
The first thing I would suggest is to confirm iCloud Music Library is enabled on your iPhone. Tap Settings > Music > and tap to turn the switch on (green).

The resource below provides some additional troubleshooting steps:
Access your music collection on all of your devices with Apple Music

If you're missing or can't play music

Take care.
