Since the latest update, when I delete messages in Gmail on my MacBook (through Apple Mail), I can still see them on my iPhone 7 in my inbox as unread messages in the Mail app. Never had this issue before. Anyone else?

If you are having issues with your Gmail account not syncing changes made on your Mac to Mail on your iPhone, you may want to double check the Mail settings on the iPhone. In particular, make sure that it is set up as IMAP and not POP; some providers (like Gmail) support both standards, but POP accounts by design will not sync changes when used across multiple devices. I've set it up automatically so it's IMAP. I've never had this issue before. It's only since updating the iOS on both the phone and the MacBook and it's only with the Gmail account. The Yahoo mail seems to be working fine in syncing on all devices.
