Watching movies on ipad?

I own several movies and wanted to watch them on my ipad while at work. At one time, all my owned movies were in one location and I simply opened the app and watched. Now, the movies are not in the same location and those missing are on the icloud. How do I get them down to watch?

Hello mary66ellen56,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that you're no longer able to access your movies as expected on your iPad. Also some of your movies appear to be missing from iCloud. I'm happy to help.

You can use the Videos app to watch movies and TV shows. Depending on your location, this app may have been replaced with the Apple TV app. Please review the information below:
iPad User Guide - Videos

If your movies were purchased in the iTunes Store, make sure you are signed in with the correct Apple ID. If needed you can redownload movies using the steps in the link below:
Redownload music, movies, TV shows, apps, and books from the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, and App Store

Have a wonderful day!
