Are the back labels removed from the iPhones in Canada like in the US?

I guess the regulatory labels like CE and the crosses-out trash can - Apple recently removed them from the back of U.S iPhones, which of course looks nicer and cleaner. The regulatory labels are now allowed to be shown in software, in this case in the Settings app. However, European iPhones still have the physical labels on their backs...
What back labels are you talking about?
Apple assigns different identifying numbers for devices sold to different countries/locations. Thus, one difference in the models would be the writing on the back.
Go buy a store that sells the iPhone and look on the back.
