Suddenly today I was making a call when my end of the phone call sounded as if the other person on the line was on a radio. The sound is crackling/muffled and just sounds horrible. However those I have called said I sounded fine, so I know it is something wrong with my iPhone.
Any help is appreciated!

As suggested in that article you may want to contact Apple Support.
I have the same issue with you, very disappointed because until now apple doesn’t explain the issue due to software or hardware
So what’s the solution? Are you still with your device?
Iphone X calling (only on my end) is muffled and crackling
