how to remove add-on

I don't even know why I downloaded the add-on Widevine by Google, and thought I manually deleted it, but I still have it listed in add-ons by "Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc. I have it disabled, but would like to get rid of it.

VIN, MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2010), iOS 10.1.1

Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. It didn't help, but I got an embarrassingly simple answer from another. All I had to do was type into address bar: about:preferences#content, and uncheck the box, Play DRM content". Firefox had it checked!
