How do I know if I’m getting the proper battery
How do I know if my battery usage to standby time is the best and how do I know if it’s running horrible and I should be better battery life I’m running 11.1.1 iPhone 7 plus

There are over 1 billion iPhones that have been sold. And there are probably 1 billion different ratios of usage to standby time, as it is a function of millions of possible combinations of installed and built in apps and how they use power on the phone. So there is no one "best" ratio. Every phone will be different.
What you should do is charge the phone overnight, every night, so it is at 100% in the morning. If you still have charge left at the end of the day your phone is working just fine.
