Can My 2010 Mac Mini Be Cooled By Some Heat Sinks?

I have a 2010 Mac Mini and all of the temperature sensors are broken and the fan is making a huge noise. I have a couple of raspberry pi's and they have heat sinks. I have installed them on my mac mini. Will this method "work" or is there a better way to cool my mac. I am using Mac OSX Mountain Lion (10.8.5) Thank you.

Mac mini, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), null
