Mini Locks Up on XFinity Recorded Programs

My original Mini locks up when I switch between recorded Xfinity programs and it can take an hour or 2 before I can watch again. Ideas?

iPad Mini Wi-Fi, iOS 9.3.5

Reinstalling the Xfinity streaming app seems to have solved the problem.
