my message app keep crashing

Same here. iPhone 7+. Started in iOS 11.1.1 today. Updated to 11.1.2. Didn’t fix it.

I’m reluctant to restore the iPhone because I don’t want to deal with adding all my credit cards back into Apple Pay and fingerprints into TouchID. If I knew 100% that would fix the issue, then I’d probably go for it, but I don’t want to gamble on that given the hassle.

Erased and restored my phone. That worked for a bit but it started happening again.

That seems like a giant hassle. I’m trying to decide if it is more of a hassle to not be able to use messages...
