Delivering at Bellagio's Fedex

I'm going to travel to Vegas next month and will stay at the Bellagio. There is a Fedex Center inside Bellagio where every guests packages are delivered and kept so the guest can take it whenever possible.

Question: does Apple deliver any products to Bellagio (received by Fedex center) so they can keep it until the guest arrive to get it?

There are two major points to make to answer your question.

  • Do you reside in the U.S.? If so, great. If not, you should be very careful about where you purchase an iPhone. Apple and Authorized Apple Service Centers will generally only service iPhones purchased in the country where these facilities are. In other words, iPhones purchased in the U.S. are only serviced in the U.S. And AppleCare is only valid in the country of purchase.
  • FedEx is one of several different shippers Apple uses. If Apple uses FedEx for this specific purchase, and it would have been directed to some nearby place anyway, then very likely you may arrange with FedEx to pick up your package rather than, say, asking it to be delivered to a nearby residence where nobody will be home, yet a signature is required by Apple. If, on the other hand, you live somewhere far away (tens of miles or more), or FedEx is not Apple's chosen shipper for this product, then you would not be able to ask FedEx to redirect the package.

Sberman, thanks for the answer.

No, I don't reside in the US. But it wouldn't be a problem since all my last iPhones were bought in the US and could get all the support I needed in my home country. I really appreciate your concern.

Actually, what I could understand about the Fedex Center at Bellagio is that it is a place where packages are kept for the guests. Since it's a huge hotel, there would be too much trouble for the reception to keep the guests packages, a Fedex Center to keep it would be a better solution. In other words, Fedex wouldn't redirect it. It would only receive it and keep it until the guest is able to take it.

Is Fedex at Bellagio considered a PO Box? On the Apple website they say the don't send packages to PO Boxes.
