canon c100 footage not progressive even i change to progressive in the inspector. This happens to every footage I import.

I've been using FCP X and C100 for long time.

Now I noticed that every footage I import is interlaced with jagged edges even i change to progressive in inspector.

When I export it's still interlaced.

When I upload the footage to Vimeo or You Tube it's smooth and jagged edges disappear.

I use FCP X 10.3.4. is it a bug???

Is the actual recording interlaced?

The definitive solution is to record progressive in the camera if possible.

There is no reason to shoot interlaced if your target is the web.
