How do I bypass/delete the Activation Lock on my iPod Touch 5th gen?

I tried everything I can. I put in my Apple ID I used to set up that iPod and nada. I tried to look it up but I basically been connecting and disconnecting the WiFi. I need someone to help me get pass it but I cant figure it out. I got it for Christmas back in 2014, and it came in a box and I needed to activate it. So I did and as of Sunday 11/12/2017 I havent been able to bypass it. When I looked up how to bypass it, it mentioned deleting my data I had and I didnt back up my photos that I really wanted to keep. whenever I put in my Apple ID that I used to activate my ipod it says "The Apple ID '(my apple id)' cannot be used to unlock this iPod" and I put the right password for it, but I changed it at one point and I tried BOTH passwords. I really need to activate my ipod again! Anybody that can help will be greatly appreciated! So if anyone knows how PLZ I dont wanna lose everything on my iPod but I also want to activate it again.

Brandon,

1) shut down the IPod touch and try again.

2) you might want to try resetting your password again, and then shut down the IPod touch.

3) idk, go to an apple store with the receipt and ask them to reset it?

4) if all doesn't work you can try find a professional group to bypass the Activation Lock(can be a risk and most of them at scammers). To have them bypass there is a fee from $50-$350. I haven't done anything like it but, there are some trustable people out there.

If you not willingly to do no.4 and the other haven't work, you carry junk(your IPod touch)

To date, the Activation lock has not been hacked. These "trustable" people are stealing money by saying they can bypass it.

It appears that the Apple ID used to lock the iPod is not the one you're currently using. Did you ever use a different one? Did someone else put their Apple ID on your device?

If you can't remember the correct Apple ID, the only way to get past it is to provide Apple with the original proof of purchase. You can use the Contact Support link in the upper right of every page of these forums to discuss the matter with them.
