THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP. WILL SYNCING BOTH "ARTISTS", AND "ALBUMS" FROM ITUNES TO MY IPOD TAKE UP MORE IPOD STORAGE THAN SYNCING EITHER ONE ALONE, EVEN THOUGH IT'S THE SAME MUSIC? IF IT WILL, WHICH IS BETTER TO USE: "ARTISTS", OR "ALBUMS"? I THING "ARTISTS" WOULD BE EASIER FOR ME TO IDENTIFY.

I sync with selected playlists, and put all the playlists for a particular device in a playlist folder so that I can easily review everything that is going to go on to it in one place. That said it won't make any difference how many different selection routes are chosen for a particular track, it can be included as part of multiple playlists, the artist, or an album, and still it is only copied to the device once.

Thanks. I did notice that in syncing, some duplication may be involved with syncing both "albums", and "artists", so I just synced "artists". That's good enough.
SYNC ONLY ARTISTS, OR BOTH ARTISTS AND ALBUMS???
