iPad Mini seems to freeze up

I have an iPad mini and also have a Kindle App on it. It seems that when a book cover shows on the screen the iPad freezes. I have tried to do to Safari and clear the History and Website Data, but I guess it clears but the cover is still on the screen.

I then shut it off, restart it and the cover clears.

1. Does anyone know why this freezes?

2. Is there a better way to handle this.

Hi there, cb121.

I see that the Kindle application you've installed on your iPad mini. When you open the app and select a book to read, the book's cover appears but then the application stops responding. There's isn't any way for me to determine why the application stops responding, but I'm happy to help.

If an app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open

Follow these steps if you have an unresponsive app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Cheers!
