what should i do

so i was having some issues with my iphone 6 and upgraded to the 6s, well now the same issues are on this phone. they converted everything over to this phone from the old one and i think a virus or something converted with it. the old phone now doesn’t have the issues it did before. the issues being: doesn’t go off when alarms are set too, as well as timers, doesn’t save safari searches, and many apps that i have notifications on for do not get them or alert me when they should.

If you restored your phone from backup and you managed to bring something corrupted over from the backup, restore your phone to factory settings and set it up as new, not from backup. Then bring your apps over from the App Store again (you won't have to pay for them again). You won't have your old data on your phone, but you can sync your contacts and photos back to the phone. You likely will have a phone that doesn't exhibit the issues you're having.

There are no viruses in the wild that can affect an iOS device.

It is entirely possible that something was corrupt on your old phone. If a backup of the old phone was restored to the new one, that could very well have carried the corruption, and the problems it was causing, to the new one.

Erase the phone and set it up as a NEW device. Do NOT restore your backup. Set up your iCloud account on it to sync your contacts, etc. back to the phone, and re-install your apps from scratch.
