Hi when creating a new s/s on iOS iPad mini 3 I am getting following error:
Error: Couldn’t communicate with a helper application. Null couldn’t be opened right now. Numbers couldn’t read the file.
Any help appreciated.

I understand you are unable to create a new spreadsheet in Numbers on your iPad mini. There have been some recent updates to iOS 11 and Numbers for iOS. I would suggest:
1) Backup iPad mini to iCloud
2) Update iOS
3) Update Numbers app
4) Restart iPad
5) Check to make sure you have enough storage on your device and in iCloud for your data.
Then try creating a new spreadsheet in the updated Numbers app and let us know if the issue persists and what specific error messages you encounter.
