reset blocked memories setting in ios
iPhone 6, iOS 11, null
You cannot block memories in Photos on iOS like you can in Photos for Mac (http://help.apple.com/ipad/11/#/iPadd77b5cfb), so it would not make much sense to have an unblock option in Photos on iOS..
Perhaps we will see soon the "Block Memory" feature added to iOS as well, if it does already show as a search result?
the Memory feature needs the names faces, the places, and the categories. Did the scan of your Photos Library for faces and categories already finish? and it helps to have the photos stored locally. Your screenshot is showing that you are having iCloud Photo Library enabled with "Optimize Storage". Then not all photos may have been scanned, if only optimized versions are on your Mac. Are you seeing faces in the Faces album? Can you search for categories like "Bear" or "Sunset" or "Birthday"?
My real issue is that I have no memories at all in my photos app and can’t understand why. I presumed i had “blocked” them somehow but maybe not then. Any ideas?
I can search for categories like “sunglasses” but there is nothing in the people album. There are photos of people stored locally though. Do you know what this means?
