what is "Microsoft Office live plug-in" and why would I not want to turn it off in Safari?

It appears to be for Microsoft Office Live Workspace, so OneDrive shouldn't require it.

It appears tooled items into Microsoft software. If you don't need that, disable the plugin in Safari/Preferences.
