What is that white dot on your iPhone screen

A couple days ago a white dot appeared in the top left corner. iPhone white dot - YouTube
Any ideas what is it?

It looks like a glitch in the UI. If you pause your video at 0:07, note that the dot looks exactly like the dot at the top and bottom of the "handle" that appears when you select text. When you dismissed the Spotlight search window, it should have gone away, but it didn't. A restart should take care of that.
