Woke up this morning and my iPhone started to restart by itself. I can use it to make calls without issue, but apps and text messages have to be quick Before it quickly restarts to a black screen and the spinning star thing before it is fine for another minute.
i have uninstalled apps updated last night, done a restart by pressing power and volume button, I have removed the SIM card and now at a loss

I've been suggesting this in other discussions if Reset All Settings doesn't work.

You will need to know your iPhone/iPad pin number and your Apple ID/password to do it. It's a full restore, but will end up the same as before hopefully without the December 2 2017 Oceania Bug.
So ignore my previous post about backup/restore if this works for you, but still a good idea to backup if you can.

Hi there give it a try on this tempt fix for this “respring” issue
1)try change turning off the set automatically at date and time .
If fail
2)try changing of date -1 or +1 day
If fail
3) enable to do not disturb mode and go to setting >notifications , show preview chnage to never
After changeing turn all App notification off, YES one by ONE OFF ! And it work for me

It happens to me as well (Mine is an iPhone 6S) from what I've seen with this similar problem the temporary fix would be adjusting the date of your phone pre-December 2 then shut down the iPhone then restart

I guess the issue only with adjusting your date would be not able to access some apps as the date should be sync with the app (ex if the date today is December 2 then the date should be December 2 so you could access the app)
Even I'm facing a similar problem in my iphone 5s since this morning(2nd December,2017- 5:30AM IST) . While using the phone, it suddenly goes blank and the passcode key screen appears. This happens in every 2-3 minutes. Moreover, the passcode screen appears even when I'm not using or even touching the phone.
I am in Melbourne, have same problem since this morning (2,Dec) . And the phone got very heat. I changed the date to 30 Nov . seems works for the moment . I don't know whether the problem continues tomorrow when I change the date back to 3,Dec. Hopefully Apple's update to fix it quick.
Same issue her with iPhone 6s. Phone keeps restarting every few minutes. I did a full reset, which seems to solve the problems for an hour or so. Then it started again.
Also my clock app isn’t working. It is visually displaying, but when I open the app it shows the menu below but other than that the screen is black.
Changing date to pre dec 2 didn’t solve the problems for me.
Reset your phone settings . The problem will be solved. Reset won’t delete the apps. Go for settings>Reset>Reset All settings.

i'm in indonesia,my friend and i had this problem this morning simultaneously,at first i thought the problem cause by my Alarm because Clock apps just went blank and didnt open and i tried to fix this with reset my setting to clear my alarm and its working fine now and i thought some other third-party apps are cause of this problem too.
Tried this, doesn't work.
Well, it works for about an hour or so, then the clock app crashes and it starts all over again.
I have been wondering if this is a case where iphone's time is just a bit off and it starts to reset to adjust for the difference.
Yes, I have a few friends reporting the same issue and they also have the error with the clock app.

I've been having this issue as well. Thank you to munymajik to sending me to this thread. I've tried the reset and the restart, and even though the reset temporarily helped with the issue, it still comes back.
