Take a few minutes to search the forum here. There are several other threads of users reporting issues. No way to tell what the issue is at this time, unless Apple makes a statement, but at this point, you are not alone. Others are experiencing issues. You may just have to wait.

That's correct. The support document has not been updated to reflect this. Having updated to iOS 11.2. I get the Apple Pay Cash option directly

Make sure the options is turned on in Settings->Wallet & Apple Pay.

That is the Square Point of Sale, not Square Cash, which is a person-to-person service. I have both. They are not the same thing.

Likewise, that is the Paypal Point of Sale. Transferring money from an individual Paypal account to another individual Paypal account is free, if the money is in the Paypal account or there is a linked bank account. I do it all the time, and have done it routinely for almost 20 years.

It will be in the same location as all other users. You're still seeing the 'holding pattern' screens. You'll know when it goes live for you though.

In my case when I opened iMessage, a pop-up screen from Apple that I had to acknowledge appeared letting me know Pay Cash was now active.

Nope. I have the two credit cards that I have registered to Apple Pay, and everything else you see, but no card that says Apple Pay Cash, nor the switch above that. I updated via iTunes on the computer, and have 2-factor authentication. Guess it seems to be something not all are seeing. I am located in the US as well. Not that I see myself using it much, so I can wait.

Not seeing it either. I should get around to adding my debit card back and see if that works.

So far i have updated all of my devices (iPhone 7 plus, iPhone 6 plus, iPhone 6s, iPad Air 2 LTE, iPad mini 2 WIFI, iPhone SE and iPad Pro 10” LTE) to the iOS 11.2 and only the iPad Pro 10” has the Apple Pay cash and the resto does not and none of my devices are on beta.

That's very strange indeed.

Has anybody tried restoring the devices? See if that makes the option pop up?

My iPhone 7 that has the option is not running a Beta either. I updated yesterday morning, and immediately saw the option.

My Pay Cash option became available on my phone just a few minutes ago*

I was opening my iMessage app, and I received a pop-up screen ahead of the messages that Apple Pay was now an enabled option in the iMessage widget tool bar. Went to my wallet, and now the virtual Pay Card** is in the deck with my other credit & debit cards..

Appears Apple may have been on a rolling release.

Check later this afternoon and you may available for you as well.

*Iphone 8 User - US based - Updated to 11.2 ~48 hours ago.

**Cool trick, select the Apple Pay card & move your phone around a bit. The card will simulate color shifting on the design like an official hologram on a real card. I guess Skeumorphism isn't as dead as some would think. 🙂

Ps: I just read online (you know that internet thingy) that Apple is doing a staggered roll-out nationwide. Guess the magic will hit my devices at some point.
