PDFs saved in iBooks keep disappearing

I have the same problem when updating iOS 11.4 and all my pdfs are missing from iBooks. Logout/login did not solve the problem.

I booked a phone calll with Apple help and three and a half hours later I had my pdf’s back, phew. Get in touch it’s certainly worth it.

This happens to me after every IOS update. Boring

Same thing for me. So so irritated. Day after Day

Solved the issue. Only causes I can think of are (a) programmer laziness and (b) programmer incompetence. Can't decide which is worse.

I have tried this several times. Still no return if the books.

Inasmuch as Apple seems to have blown off this destructive problem, does anyone have a suggestion on how to reliably store PDFs on an iPhone? I would be so appreciative and thankful.

Since the last update, I have the same annoying and troubling problem. Can Apple solve it, please?

If you edit the document in anyway on iBooks it won’t be deleted. Simply highlight the title or a page number and that will allow the document to remain on your device.

Thank you Dr. this fixed mine for me. This isn't the first time I've had this issue, but the first time it was fixed.
