How can I sync 2 playlists on my iPod nano

When I open iTunes with my iPod nano connected, I can see the device and I can see Playlists. When I click on the device, it shows me Music and when I click on that, it shows the 434 songs on my Playlist - New. I am not sure where on my computer that Playlist is located. Now I want to add a second Playlist with just Christmas songs. I can go into iTunes and create the Christmas playlist under the Playlist header on the left, but can't figure out how to move it to my nano, which has plenty or room. Is there a way to have both playlists?

When I open the Sync screen, it shows the Christmas playlist with a checkbox, but does NOT show the Playlist-New. Since I don't know where the Playlist New is or how to get it back if I over-write it on the nano, I'm afraid to sync.

Yes, you can Sync a second (and many more) Playlist to your iPod.

If you are using Sync to manage your iPod, when you see the iPod connected to iTunes switch to the Device/Music pane. Select the device and then refer to the screenshot below:

Select Settings/Music (make sure you select the correct one, see the screenshot. Do not select On My Device/Music)
Sync Music
You can choose which option you prefer. If you select Entire music library, then the new Playlist will automatically be put onto the iPod as well as the original list you have. If you have chosen Sync selected playlists, artists, albums and genres, then use step 4. to continue
In the Playlists panel, choose the Playlists that you want on your iPod

Finally, having made these choices, click the Sync button in the bottom right of the iTunes window.

That's it. Safely disconnect your iPod by using the eject button.
