Try to install the retail version Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO File) and see if that works better. If it installs properly, then without activating it, install the Education version on top of the W10 retail version.

It is a Mid 2014 13inch Macbook Pro with 2.8ghz and 512GB ssd. Windows is the windows 10 educational since I have it from my university. I just recently changed from a Mid 2014 with i5 2.6ghz and 128gb ssd to this one. This educational version went smoothly with the old one... it’s just this newer one that had this problem...
I’ve already dealt with the matter and my windows works correctly, but unfortunately only when my ethernet cable is plugged in. If it isn’t then windows 10 freezes when I’m about to type my password in.
Yes I have installed the bc drivers onto windows 10 pro, unfortunately even the pro version does the same thing of freezing in the log in menu if the ethernet cable is not connected. When I connect the ethernet cable everything runs smoothly.
What is the year/model of your Mac and the specific version of W10 that you trying to install?
Are you using a USB Installer using a USB2 flash drive? Are you running High Sierra on the new MBP?
Yup I’m using a USB 2 and am running high sierra
Thank you! After installing the retail version I even had an option to install the educational and everything runs smolthly!
Excellent. Please remember to back up macOS, Windows and create a Windows System Restore point.
Did you install BC drivers after the retail version was installed?
Do you have a Network Adapter for Wireless and one for Ethernet? You can use Windows Snipping tool to take a picture of the Device Manager Window and post it here.
