Hi

I suggest that you contact your credit card issuer and ask them.

Any such charges from your card issuer aside, note that Apple Pay Cash charges a 3% credit card fee on any amount that are funded by your credit card:

Yes. Bank Of America will. They just charged me 4% of the total transferred. It shows on my statement as “CASH EQUIVALENT-TRANSACTION FEE”. I made a stupid mistake when sending money via Apple Pay a couple days ago as the first option shown was Credit Card instead of debit, plus quick fingerprint verification. I didn’t read well and thought it was the same credit/debit (as if you were purchasing in a retail store) then I got scr**ed. Apple Pay deducted 2% instantly and then the bank charged me 4% today. Don’t do it. Use debit. Tomorrow first thing in the morning I’ll go to the bank and cover this with cash or else who knows what else they’ll charge me. I just read Cash advances are charged interest per day from the Moment you take them! I think Apple Pay should add clear warnings about this and additional pop-ups before you actually confirm a credit transaction. As it is right now is a pretty ambiguous trap!
