Iphone x incoming call display delay problem

I am on IOS 11.2.5 beta 7. Tried resetting the phone as new iphone, and then took backup of contacts from cloud and also toggled off the contacts. The problem is still there. There is a delay in incoming call from SAVED CONTACTS.

I have the same problem of call lagging. what I have noticed is the devices which were purchased from US have this issue, and the devices Purchased in India don't have this issue..

I have check almost more than 12 devices

So the lag has come back after 3 days of updating to 11.2.5

This lag is not there in iphone 8 & 8 plus. Even if they have the same ios. Think about it... It has to be hardware.. My decision of scrapping the iphone X is becoming stronger day by day because of the unprofessional attitude by apple for the delay on rectifying this issue.

Even after updating to iOS 11.3, there is a delay but there are some points here to note:

1. I have a chip processor model of 1865. Guys with A1902 doesn’t seems to have a problem of this sort?? Anyone with A1902???

2. The delay has reduced to 2 seconds but it is still there after having to have done all sorts of things like soft hard restart, reset to new phone, etc

3. The delay is only of phone book contacts and not for the unsaved phone numbers.

When is the final version of the problem solving iOS update coming ??

I had this same issue tried all these reset things but didn’t work out talked to Apple people multiple times they have no answer and then I finally switch to factory unlocked 1901 version

Oh, wow! This problem has been a great issue until today. I am now really skeptical about buying the phone next month. haha. But, hopefully, nothing more than this software problem.

For now, let's just enjoy and be grateful for what we have and for what Apple did to this new generation of iPhone.

I had spoken to them.They advised me not to use the side button to cancel the call and to perform a soft reset.It worked fine for a day but now the problem is back to same.I dont know how long do we have to wait for this to get sorted out.Really dissapointed with this.

I have the same issue. I have updated to the last OS and still am having the same issues. Also having issues with CarPlay not being recognized sometimes or freezing or the (non-jailbroken) iOS Springboard rebooting while using the phone and specially while CarPlay is active.

Also at random times the phone will just not wake up for normal tasks.

I have a similar problem, sometimes the screen does not turn on and this problem can last for a few seconds or remains permanent until I do a forced reboot. I have already sent my phone to service but have not encountered any problems with hw. Does anyone have my same problem?

the phone app of late has a lot of bugs. ask siri to play unread Voice mails and it plays all VM messages. call transfer not working reliably. just freezes and no button presses work at all. have to plug it in several times for CarPlay to activate. this is not happening to a few people this is happening to everyone just not everytime. just a few reporting it. and that these issues have been around so long without being fixed. eager to see if apple can get my $1000 phone working reliably as a phone again...

Me facing the exact problem.Thought that the issue was with my tempered glass protector but now it is clear its a genuine problem.Shame on apple releasing an half baked software with their flagship..

Yes, this has started to happen to me about 4 days back. My watch rings first and only after the third ring does it show up on my phone. I can confirm that a hard reset is a temporary fix and it shows up again after a few calls.
