FoxL 2.2 won't connect to late 2016 MBPTB

Re-discovered a FoxL 2.2 speaker I've had for several years.

Works great with iPhone X -- connected seamlessly.

However, it doesn't want to connect with my late 2016 MBPTB. Bluetooth Preferences just searches and searches but doesn't find the speaker.

I've re-booted the system, switched things off and on, no joy.

Anyone have an idea what the issue might be and how to resolve it?

Oops, my mistake.

Bluetooth doesn't like simultaneous connections; everyone knows that. Switched bluetooth off on two other devices in the room -- FoxL connects just fine. Problem solved.
