Hello vaporsci,

Apple is not here, just other Apple customers like yourself. To send feedback to Apple, use this link: https://www.apple.com/feedback/

I would also encourage you to voice your support for letting people decide how they want to use their machines. Many people, myself included, hated the "All My Files" setting. What was the point in showing me 600,000 files? And it was the default setting. I have forgotten how many times I created new accounts for various reasons and always had to go in and change it. Now it is gone and I'm happy. But lots of people like yourself did like it. What was the logic in making it the default for everyone, for years, and then removing it, for everyone?

So, while I have a difference of opinion about this specific feature, I completely support your position. Let people choose what user interfaces they want. Don't make decisions for people, one way or another.
