Able to disable or reposition home button on iPhone X, especially in landscape, in apps.
Had been playing games on iPhone X, and lots of unwanted accidentally swipes on home button causing it to exit app.
Being able to temporary disable or reposition the home button.
Help needed.
There is no setting for doing what you are asking unfortunately. Developers are still updating and getting to rework many apps for best practices to work better with all the new gestures introduced with the X. Right now when playing games horizontally, it is very easy to swipe up accidentally and basically go to the home screen when you just wanted to shot something instead.

Hopefully developers at Apple will consider doing this. It is minor, yet very irritating to accidentally exit apps.
I would strongly suggest adding a home button on the top right widget, while being able to disable the swipe-up home button.
