Since installing 10.13.2 I have a sleep wake failure on iMac. Was working perfectly before installed latest update on Dec 8.
This is not an uncommon problem but the "fixes/solutions" one reads on the internet are all over the place.
Is there a fix or is this simply something only Apple can solve for all those now plagued by the problem? It is irritating in the extreme.

Same problem. 2012 iMac. Updated to 10.13.2, sleep is broken. When I come back my machine has reset itself, I have to login and wait for everything to come up again. This all seems related to graphics cards and processors. I haven't touched the hardware, so the Apple OS update fouled up the system.
Since this morning nothing works anymore. Macbook Pro stuck in black screen mode. Apple please do something!
My iMac turned off...again on it's own and now will not boot up. Thanks apple for destroying my expensive 27" iMac and ruining so many of your loyal customers devices.
It came with High Sierra installed but this issue didnt start to happen until the last 2-3 weeks.
Where is Energy Saver under preferences?? It’s not listed for me!

Hello, TJBHK? The latest Mac Operating System is v10.13.3, not v10.3.2. Try to install v10.13.3: this might fix your problem?

The problem began somewhere after the original release of 10.13. It continues with 10.13.3, the latest update.

Yes I absolutely agree. I have tried reinstalling HS already and the same problems just continue. The only way forward is to go back unfortunately.
You have to make a bootable USB and then wipe your hard drive and re install Sierra with the USB stick - only takes 20 minutes
OK thanks. I can hardly bear to wipe the machine again but it has to be worth the hassle to get rid of HS.
I did it on my iMac at the weekend and its back to normal, so totally worth it
I think the best thing for most people with this problem is to downgrade, keep watching this thread, wait until they fix it, then dive back in.
