iPhone 6 has no ear audio, speaker audio, or microphone working. Only works with headphones in
Hello,
I'm looking to confirm my diagnosis, or shine some more light on this issue of mine. I've got an iPhone 6 here that is less then a year old. It's in great shape, no scratches/dents/water damage. The issue I'm faced with this phone is that the Speakers don't work, the Ear audio doesn't work, and nor does the microphone work. Weird thing is that when you plug earphones in, the audio works, and microphone works. The volume buttons on the physical phone don't do anything unless headphones are plugged in. Audio cannot be adjusted at all unless earphones are in.
I don't think the phone is stuck in headphone mode since the phone audio goes from working to not working when I plug the head phones in and out. I seem to think the phone might be stuck in "docking" mode?
The only thing I can possibly think of is that the phone is stuck in Docking Mode or Headphone Mode. I've tried Updating iOS, Factory resetting phone, disabling Bluetooth, Opening the phone and ensuring the speaker is connected properly, and pretty much ANYTHING else you can find online.
Someone please tell me you've seen this before.
Sincerely,
Steve
