appleID secondary email

Tried to change the secondary email account for AppleID.
On-line form accepted the changes, then forced me to quit my login.
On re-signing in the secondary email account remains the same, unchanged.

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13)

Try in another admin user account or in the Safe Mode. If you are still having problems, try Apple ID Support.

Apple Support by e-mail or chat Select your device, Battery, Power and Charging, then Power adapter not working to get a chat option. If you need to talk to them, ask them if they will do a Skype or FaceTime with you.

How it forced me to quit? By bringing up the AppleID Login Screen again.


I have had issues with this ID for some time - receiving invalid AppleID message in App Store, but I successfully changed password some months ago. All I want to do is to edit my details. I imagine it is do with High Sierra, you know the OS without any problems...
