30 Pin to lighting adapter

I have an old Bose Sound Dock with a 30 pin adapter. Will the Apple 30 pin to lighting adapter play the Audio? I've tried several other adapters but no sound, just charging.

Hi cbtbruce,

You will probably get more and faster responses by posting in the iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch forums where more people are likely to see the question and have experience with Bose sounds products.

It probably won't. I can't say for certain, but sometimes with iOS updates, Apple stops supporting certain adapters. I have a 30-pin to lightning that no longer works with my iPhone 7 when I try to use it with other devices.
