Need Windows 7 with Boot Camp for work

Help. I bought Windows 7 and have a Product Key. I thought I was following instructions to use Boot Camp and my 32gb USB flash drive to install it on my partition. I have a mid-2009 MacBook using El Capitan. I ended up doing a VirtualBox install from a YouTube video.

My job accepts my Mac specs but needs Windows 7 natively, not using a virtual method. Is there a clear step-by-step for this? I have been researching this for a week, and the tutorials always get me lost along the way because they skip steps, or are too technical in their explanation.

MacBook, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

If you already have a blank DVD, there is no need to buy more. Download the W7 ISO and you can burn it to the DVD, by right-clicking on the ISO file, selecting Burn, expanding the Burn dialog box, and enabling the Verify and Mount options and using the lowest possible burn rate supported by the media to avoid block errors.

Audio does work on the macOS side, but I've since given up on the BC operation. The remote job I was going to do I've decided not to pursue. Now, I'd simply like to put my Mac back to normal. No more spinning wheels, stalling, or crashing apps. I attempted to erase the Windows 7 disk or reduce it from 65gb, now I'm showing a restore disk. I used Disk Utility and I have three volumes instead of two. How do I fix this?
