ITunes is not connecting to the internet on one of my desktops. I'm unable to go into the store or run the update. If I delete it

I'm running Windows 7 Pro. 3.7 Quad IV processor, Every other program on this computer connects to the internet just fine. Sometimes ITunes freezes up for 20-30 seconds. I can go in my library & do just about anything except get in the ITunes store or do an update. I can delete the program & reinstall. Also, will I lose my purchased songs? Any suggestions?

Thank you kindly!

Hi TourBusGuy,

I understand that iTunes on your Windows 7 PC will not connect to the iTunes Store or update, and I'm happy to provide some help for this issue.

I recommend going through the steps for this issue provided in the article below:

If you can't connect to the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, or App Store - Apple Support
You shouldn't lose any purchased songs, but should something happen you can always download them from the iTunes Store again

Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books from the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, and App Store

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. Cheers!
