Putting a copy of a DVD onto my MacBook

I really want to put a copy of a video that I have on a DVD onto my computer so that I may import it into Final Cut Pro for editing. Is there a way to do this?

If there is a way to do this, will it also include the "bonus features" of the movie (i.e. gag reel, deleted scenes)?

I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro running MacOS High Sierra, version 10.13.1 (I put in a new hard drive).

Thanks!

Assuming you mean a DVD for say, a movie, generally impossible. DVD's include anti-piracy technology to prevent the DVD from being copied in any way - to another DVD or to a computer. Should you try to do so I would think it goes into the grounds of piracy/copyright violations etc, since you don't have the explicit permission of the owner of the movie to edit it anyway...
