Question: Deleting ICloud account

I’m trying to either sign out of, or delete my current Icloud account. The email is from high school and they have deactivated the account so I can no longer reach it. I also don’t remember the password even if I could get to it. How can I delete or sign out of my account? THANKS!

You do not need the password to the email account itself, you need the AppleID password you created when you used that email to create your AppleID. You can see this document - If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support to try and recover your AppleID.

I changed the Apple ID password. I went to settings, clicked on the top where the iCloud settings are, tried to sign out of the iCloud account, provided what I thought was the password was, and it says I am locked out of my account. There is an unlock option and I can either have an email sent to me, which isn’t an option because it will go to my old email and I cannot access it, or I can answer 2 security questions but I don’t remember the answers to them so it still won’t work. Is there anyway I can change the security questions so I know the answers to them?

All of your options to recover an AppleID are in the link I already provided. As a last resort, at the end of that document is a link to contact Apple for assistance in trying to recover an AppleID. Without a rescue email, and without knowing your security questions, you are going to have to talk to the them directly.
