Burning playlist to CD will not complete.......burns only partial list then aborts

Have been burning iTunes playlists to CDs for years now all of a sudden start of the burn becomes aborted after only a few music selections. Also burns other playlists from my library instead of the one which is intended and posted.

Have you been able to move ahead beyond the error message and up to the latest posting in here? See the suggested steps offered by member 'turngtest2'.
