Apple "Calendar" attachment made on MacBook to access and use offline while on iPad without internet.

Hi All

I have iCloud enabled for the Calendar app operating on my MacBook with OSX El Capitan and an iPad with IOS 11.2. The Calendar was made by the MacBook. It is shared.

I added attachments, as pdf files, inside many events. When online, I can open the attachments with wifi enabled on the iPad, just as it should.

However, I will not have internet access most of the time travelling and wanted to access those documents while on the iPad.

I have noticed that the basic "event" and notes work off-line yet it appears that the pdf's as attachments won't open without an internet connection.

Is there a means to download the pdfs locally on the iPad whereby they would open after being accessed through the Calendar app?

Thanks for your consideration.
