iMovie - Missing Camera/Media

I was editing for like 2 hours on iMovie when the video clip I was working on wouldnt play anymore so I quit iMovie and relaunched it and they put up an error message that said one of the files was corrupt in a specific library. Since the media I was using was in a few other libraries (as a precaution) I hit the "repair" option for the message box.

I then went into my projects to continue working and found the below screen shot.

All the media that was there was now gone and instead replaced with a black screen that said "Missing Camera"

What to do??? All my edits are there...

Sounds like your library is corrupted and the repair didn't work. Try opening a backup. iMovie stores backups in user library>containers>cmm.apple.iMovieApp>Data>Library>Caches>iMovie Backups. Pick a backup prior to when your problem occurred and double click on it to open it in iMovie. Another thing you can try is to right click in finder on your iMovie Library and select to open package contents. Locate and delete CurrentVersion.flexolibrary file. iMovie will rebui;d this file and hopefully fix your library. You might try this first before opening a backup.
